Georgia
Georgia became the 4th state, on January 2, 1788, located in the southern part of the United States. It was the last of the Thirteen Colonies to be established as a colony. It became the fourth state after ratifying the United States Constitution on January 2, 1788. Georgia is also known as the Peach State and the Empire State of the South.
Age of Consent is 16. Georgia amended its constitution to ban same-sex marriage. Georgia's Sodomy law was overturned in 1998.
