Las Vegas, NV — I returned a call from my Internet provider after they had call me twice. The conversion went somewhat like this:
- Robot: "This call/session may be monitored and recorded for record-keeping, training and quality-assurance purposes"
- I wait patiently for a customer service representative.
- Representative: "This call/session may be monitored and recorded for record-keeping, training and quality-assurance purposes"
- Me: "I object to being record"
- Representative: "I'm sorry you object to being recorded. I will now disconnect."
