Apartment Hunting
By Daddy
Las Vegas, NV — I spend the weekend looking for comps to the apartment that I'm staying in. All of the complexes have raised their rates to a similar degree. All the corporate owned complexes are splitting out and charging for utilities. The rates vary greatly.
On Saturday I visited Pahrump a small town about 62 miles away. The prices there are about $200/month less and no extra charges. The best plan for me is to extend my lease for 12 months, save my pennies, and move away from this city that I love so much. People will be able to visit, it just means that I'll need to drive "Over the Hill" for an hour to meet up.
Six Weeks until the election, that's our next chance to start shifting the Government back to the middle or to the left. The Mid-Terms tend to have a light turnout; We can't afford to let this chance to set things right slip through our fingers. I haven't supported the Democrat or Republican parties in several decades so I plan to vote independent. Can you imagine the havoc a three party Congress would have on the Good Ol' Boy network?' much better than hearing about the Presidents genitals.
Thank-you for your donations! September is now covered and any more donations this month will go back into the reserves. My reserves are at the 25% level and are stable for the moment. After that I have enough for October and perhaps November. Hopefully the Flirt4free commissions will pick up by then. Any help is welcome.

Be Like Adam Rippon. Get Involved in the Election
By Christine Linnell
Cyberspace — Six weeks from the 2018 midterm election, it feels like the stakes have never been higher — particularly for LGBTQ citizens, as issues like "religious freedom" and gender identity become explosive talking points for candidates fighting for control of the House and Senate. With a recent poll suggesting that only 28 percent of young voters are certain they'll turn out to vote, it's easy to feel anxious about the results. (More)
