I Only Have So Many Steps In A Day

Las Vegas, NV — Several people have asked: "Are you OK?" The short answer is I've had a few rough days, but I'm currently doing better than expected with my pain levels reducing on an almost hourly basis.
You may of heard me say: "I only have so many steps in a day!" This week I ran out of steps several times because of poor planning on the part of the apartment complex, I live in while they resurfaced the parking lot.
I'm fighting what's know as "diabetic wounds" caused by running out of steps for most of a week. They are not difficult to treat but do require attention to details so that they don't get infected. Yesterday, I received the medical supplies to treat them. My parking spot is once available a few steps away from my front door.
Most of this weekend will be spend doing what needs to be done to get back to a reasonable place. Careful management of not only my wounds, but just taking care of myself in general, Getting plenty of sleep, being very careful with my diet, and putting myself in a mental state that promotes Healing.
