One of the reasons I enjoy the Yule holiday break is that it gives me time to concentrate on being a techno-nerd. I have spend the last two days chasing down that elusive bug that was preventing the navigation widget from flipping from User Mode to Admin Mode. Last night I was able to get that last duck in the row and I can proudly say it's flipping like a gymnast.

It works well on iPads and larger screens and I've think I've come up with a solution for cellphones. I believe it'll be a first on how to navigate throughout the different parts of the world. I'll be spending a few days teaching the widget how to cram itself onto the smaller screens as we move into the new year.

I'm doing some final testing on the widget code, and will ship it off to the author as soon as I'm done. I've started designing the look for the detail screen for the different areas and the changes I'll need to make in the database to support the look.

Spending most of my time at home as the weather here in Las Vegas has been in the low 40s and joints are not pleased. Other than that I'm doing surprisingly well with the heel wound down to the size of a large postage stamp.
