Pushing the New Backend to Production

By Daddy

Las Vegas — Tried to push the new backend to the production machine. Actually it's there except part of it needs PHP7 to run when the production server has PHP5. This is a major step for the next version of the web site as PHP5 has reached end of life in April.

I'll be testing the current frontend on the testing server which has the latest and greatest PHP. This will give me a chance to pick up the pieces if the frontend breaks.

Saturday I received a surprise visit from Peter Hung who showed up bearing a face mask for me. We had a pleasant time with us both maintaining our social distancing. It turns out to be easy because of how I have the living room set up, It was really good socializing even if it was at a distance. The photos have no way to capturing his classic european good looks!

The A/C is still acting up however I was able to get the apartment down to 81° which made it easier to sleep. I suspect that the A/C either needs its filter changed or the refrigerant needs to be topped off. It's 85° now at 6pm and I'll be able to open up the window in a hour or so and turn the window fan on to get rid of the excess heat.

The last cube of receipts is being an everlasting chore however I'm beginning to see the bottom of the cube. One or two sessions of sorting them into yearly piles and I'll be able to put them in their final resting place. It turns out the the dark times for me was 2013 and 2014 as later years are already sorted.

The Mail Carrier reports that only about half the Change of address forms are being processed and that phone calls are being made. He gave me the hint to reply to the email that failed when I tried it online. We'll know if the change of address postcard worked when mail starts showing up with those distinctive yellow labels. He has been catching mail to the old address and sending it to the new address. The fact that it's the same number is making it easy for them.

To all those that have donated, Thank you! Any help is appreciated. Please update the address when you have a chance. Here's a link to the How to Donate Page which has been updated with the new address.

Hollywood — "Without a doubt — musically, vocally and visually — he was my biggest influence. Seeing him live in my teens was the most exciting event in my life at that point. Say What? These Tops Don’t Like Penetrative Sex

By Bobby Box

Unknown — A month ago, I wrote an article for NewNowNext about bottoms who don’t enjoy receptive anal intercourse. As someone who, admittedly, did not love anal sex for a considerable time, I could empathize with these men, who cited pain, preparation, and shame for their preference. Despite not enjoying the act of bottoming, these men still identify as bottoms because they favor submissive roles, alpha men, and being cared for, and when aroused, they fantasize about being the receptive partner.
