Took Memorial Day Off
By Daddy
Las Vegas — Sort of took Memorial day off... Finished the last loads of laundry, folded all the cloths and then did practically nothing for the rest of the day. Binge watching "Club de Cuervos" on Netflix to see all of the soccer eye candy. I'm only able to get only about 10% of the Spanish.
I've been running with the reloaded backend on the production server and it's behaving itself. Even the recalcitrant Wizard control is behaving. I'm still going to rewrite that portion and get rid of the unsupported control.

Costa Rica — The nation’s constitutional court ruled in August 2018 that a ban on same-sex marriage was unconstitutional and gave parliament 18 months to legislate or the provision would be automatically nullified. Earlier this month, more than 20 lawmakers tried to delay the marriage ruling by 18 months but the measure failed and the ban was lifted at midnight – although couples will have to opt for online weddings due to the coronavirus restrictions. New Study Shows How COVID-19 Is Wreaking Havoc on Queer POC
By Sam Manzella
United States — The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has had a particularly devastating financial impact on one subset of the LGBTQ community: queer people of color. A new report from HRC and PSB Research is putting numbers to this disparity. And the findings—based on a survey of 4,000 adult Americans between April 16 and May 6, 2020—are illuminating. As far as unemployment goes, 22% of queer POC reported losing their jobs due to COVID-19 versus 14% of white LGBTQ people and 13% of non-LGBTQ respondents. Thirty-eight percent of LGBTQ POC said their work hours were cut compared to 29% of white queer people and 24% of the general population. (More)
