Las Vegas — Pushing the current site to the testing machine so that I can test against PHP7 This weekend the plan is upgrading everything on the production machine to the latest and greatest.

The A/C is still acting up however I was able to get the apartment down to 81° which made it easier to sleep. The work order is in to service the A/C and now the kitchen light has decided to go dim (it's a LED fixture.) I don't mind eating in the dark but cooking in the dark is bothersome. The saving factor is that the stove has a light.

The last cube of receipts is being an everlasting chore however I'm beginning to see the bottom of the cube. One or two sessions of sorting them into yearly piles and I'll be able to put them in their final resting place. It turns out the the dark times for me was 2013 and 2014 as later years are already sorted.

The Mail Carrier reports that only about half the Change of address forms are being processed and that phone calls are being made. He gave me the hint to reply to the email that failed when I tried it online. We'll know if the change of address postcard worked when mail starts showing up with those distinctive yellow labels. He has been catching mail to the old address and sending it to the new address. The fact that it's the same number is making it easy for them.

To all those that have donated, Thank you! Any help is appreciated. Please update the address when you have a chance. Here's a link to the How to Donate Page which has been updated with the new address.

Last Week Tonight Host John Oliver Announced on Sunday Night That He’s Launching a Set of Postage Stamps Through Stamps.com to Help Save the U.S. Postal Service From Donald Trump’s Attempts to Destroy It.

Las Vegas — Trump has been unwilling to help the USPS because of a personal grudge he has against Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, which relies on it to deliver packages, Oliver added: “Trump is strongly opposed to giving the USPS sufficient aid, and many believe it’s because of its relationship with Amazon, which is owned by Jeff Bezos, who also owns the Washington Post, whose political coverage is hated by the president, who, as we know, makes policy decisions based on his never-ending game of ‘Six Degrees of How Is This About Me?'” (More)
