I Don't Understand...
By Daddy
Las Vegas — I got up this morning to take my medication and I made the mistake of turning on CNN and got caught up in watching the coverage of the Senate impeachment. It was chilling; Horror movie type of chilling. The impeachment prosecutors methodically went from point A to point B documenting the facts including new evidence, new videos, and new revelations. Turns out that Capital police officer Eugene Goodman literally saved Mitt Romney from a head on collision with the mob.
The Senators that will be voting on the impeachment are for the most part are the same ones that were trapped in the Senate chamber during the insurrection and escaped with only minutes to spare from a blood thirsty mob that really didn't really care who was who. They saw the events, they heard the events, they felt the events and yet most of them are still going to vote along party lines. I simply don't understand. I think the eerie sound we're hearing is the death knell of the Republican party.
I spend the time folding the Spring cleaning laundry and got about half way through it before I had to leave for my weekly wound doctor appointment. Minor improvements of the foot ulcers with another one pronounced healed. Friday I have an appointment to pick up my new CROW boot which should make it easier to move around.
