Would You Like A Piece Of Cheese Cake?
By Daddy
Cyberspace — When he walked into Denny's it was obvious that he was having problems with his right leg. All he said was: "I've had a bad day," later he said: "Tomorrow is going to be a bad day." When the shiver shot up my spine I knew that it was my cue
So I asked him: "Would you like a piece of cheese cake?" and I watched as his eyes lite up. So I told the waitress to get us both of a piece and put it on my bill. It turned out that we both like our cheese cake plain and we both like to eat it with a fork.
It didn't take long to find out why today was a bad day and why tomorrow wasn't going to be any better. His doctor had just put him on a late-ditch antibiotics that if they don't work they'll need to take his leg next week. Tomorrow he has to get up at 7:30am to bury his wife of thirty-five years.
So we talked about everything else. Like me, he has a near-photographic memory, unlike me he doesn't have a problem with the index system so he can get to the memories in a instant. He's 70, so seven years old than me and had worked in Las Vegas for 35 years. we had a grand old time discussing the Las Vegas of yesteryear. We also have a similar interest in the entertainment industry. His take on John Wayne? "I never liked Westerns."
A proud man, and one one that doesn't say: "Woe is me." A man that knows what he wants and isn't shy to let you know how he wants it. As I left I said: "Tomorrow morning, as you're at the lowest point you're going to feel a wave of energy. All you need to know is that: 'All is Well', It will get better!'
7:30am isn't my time of day. So I'll need some help to help Ray. Just take a moment and think: "All is well, It will get better!" Someday it may be your turn, and we'll return the favor.
We're up to 1,580 active reviews with several venue reviews. Indian Hot Springs is a day's drive away, outside Denver. I predict that a weekend trip sometime in Spring will be happening.
To all those that donated thank you! February has been taken care of and I'm starting on March. My reserves remain at the 16% level and I may need to use a small amount. At this time I have about a months reserves left. Any help is appreciated.

Confessions of a “Sassy Gay” Stylist
By Stefon Sasser
Cyberspace — Despite knowing next to nothing about fashion, I work at a popular retail chain. The shop is in a liberal metropolitan area, which means people are more than okay with me being a visibly queer man. My limp wrists, gaudy earrings, and glittery nail polish aren’t deterrents to the largely heterosexual customer base. If anything, my appearance attracts them. (More)
