The Doctor Is Once Again Happy!
By Daddy
Las Vegas — The heel wound is doing better and we suspect that it was the antibiotics that helped. I have an appointment with the heart and vascular doctor next Wednesday.
Yesterday a friend and I went shopping and I scored two pair of shorts and a nice shirt all on sale. We went to Denny's for dinner (don't give me that look!) The $8.00 Cowboy streak just isn't worth $8.00; however the plain cheesecake is still yummy! That trip cured my cabin fever for a while. I really am a creature of the night that likes garlic!
One of the unexpected bills is now paid so yea for the Norway and their privacy laws, we have mail for another year. I have a week or two on the other bill.
To all those that have donated, Thank you! Any help is appreciated. Here's a link to the How to Donate Page which has been updated with the new address.
Dance Music DJ/Producer Spencer Brown: ‘I Am Gay’
By Andy Towle
Print — “Imagine waking up daily with unshakable self-hate without knowing why,” Brown began. “School starts in an hour; crippling anxiety keeps you under your sheets. You stumble into the bathroom and look in the mirror; you see a person you don’t understand. You drive to school; you drown your thoughts with the loudest music you own. You try to suppress your natural feelings and emotions; you tell yourself that love is an idiotic fairytale. This was my, and many others’, reality for over a decade, but I’ve learned that mornings don’t have to be that way.” (More)

Prideland: PBS Series Focuses on Southern Queer Populations and Advances
By Brian Bromberger
Unknown — Prideland is a journey encapsulating how LGBTQ people are thriving in the South, despite encountering bigotry and non-acceptance. It is hosted by African-American performer, creator and recording artist Dyllón Burnside, best known for portraying the street kid Ricky in Ryan Murphy's FX series Pose.
"Being a queer boy raised in the South, I had distinct memories of feeling like I could never be my authentic-self there, so I left seeking acceptance elsewhere," said Burnside in a PBS press statement. "But I never left my southern roots. I wanted to go back as an adult to see if things had changed, and I'm proud to report they have."
