Las Vegas — Depending on how you look at it, we have either three weeks or four weeks left before we have the official results of the election. December 8th is the Safe Harbor deadline for states to choose electors that are guaranteed to be accepted by Congress. Then on December 14th the Electors vote in their State, and for the first time we'll be able to find out the "Official" results.
Normally the transition starts far earlier, however this time we've had an unprecedented resistance by the current administration to start the process of transitioning to the new administration. If we're lucky, it'll start after one of those two dates. I expect that it may take until January 6th next year when Congress counts the Electoral votes and declares a winner.
If we're lucky that'll be the end of it, however it can get far worse. Hopefully we won't be going there. It we have an extreme situation it can make stops in the House and Senate, and even the Supreme court all of which would create even more angst. No matter what, a decision must be made before the 20th of January.
The new camcorder is still hanging out in Phoenix doing loopty loops around the Fedex facility there. I have the case for the camera and it is so very small. Small enough that it easily could get lost in the back of the car. Hopefully the camcorder will arrive in time for me to start playing with it this weekend.
Tomorrow I have an appointment to pick up my Diabetic Shoes (with Inserts) which will be an improvement over the socks that I wear around the apartment.
I've starting to get comfortable with Nova with my only complaint being the lack of contrast in several of their controls. These tired old eyes need that contrast in certain hours of the day. They tend to be really good at fixing these type of problems. This will be the 5th day of doing production with Nova and I still have 19 days left on the trial.
