Coverboy Thanksgiving Cleanup
Cooking and Posting
By Daddy
Las Vegas — Do you remember that I work a day ahead? So I'm doing the publication work for Friday (and the weekend) on Thanksgiving day while I'm cooking.
I'm having ribeye steak because I just wasn't in the mood to cook my usual spiral cut ham. A troupe of shrimp up front and I also did a green bean casserole which was first thing finished so I've been nibbling on it through out the day. I use the French's recipe French's recipe from their website. Fresh green beans cooked in the Sous Vite then finished off in the oven as a casserole.
We're twelve days out from the December 8th Safe Harbor deadline for states, so I feel safe in ignoring the antics of politicians doing what they do.
I'm spending the weekend working on the preventive maintenance and redoing the media table to better get too the hardware. I don't plan to go out this weekend given that we set a new COVID19 Highhigh on November 20th; the good news is that we may be heading back down because of the lockdowns that have been ordered.
As is usual as we head into the holidays, money gets tight however November appears to be taken care of with only a few surprises for December. To all those that have donated, Thank you for your donations!. Any help is appreciated. Here's a link to the How to Donate Page

Washington Post's Jonathan Capehart on the Media's Post-Trump Future
By John Casey
Print — The question seems to come every year before the appetizer and the turkey is carved, “What are you most thankful for?” and more likely posed during a Zoom meal this year. If you have escaped the wrath or consequences of COVID-19, then that seems to be a good place to start. 2020 hasn’t given us that many moments of overwhelming gratitude, so many of you might say, “Joe Biden” taking the positive approach, or going negative with “No more Donald Trump.” (More)

While queerness is rare in leading Disney characters, the House of Mouse has stood by its decision to include diverse characters. For example, in the live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, LeFou is given some redeeming qualities and even finds love in the final moments of the film. (More)
