2020 Vice-President Debate

Finally We Get a Reasonable Debate

By Daddy

Las Vegas — The difference between day and night. My first criticisms is while they were polite about answering questions they tended to have no relationship to the question. While this is a common technique of politicians however it's jarring when we the audience want to hear the answer to the original question. The 2nd is that when it was time to move one they would ignore the moderator. I got so tired of the repetitious : "Thank-you Mr. Vice President" or "Thank-you Senator Harris." However it was the Vice-President like the President before him that was lectured on the rules by the moderator.

What I saw once again was two sides of the same coin. Who won? In my opinion any of the 3rd party candidates are the ones that won. In my case it's encouraging me to research those 3rd party candidates. I didn't go through my entire bag of popcorn. It's my hope that the final debate will have learned a better way to discuss the issues.

I picked up my new CROW boot and to be honest it's going take some getting used to. I get very tired very quickly when it's on however I am getting around with my cane. It's definitely a workout which I didn't mind. The hardest problem is that I can't get up from my workstation chair with it on; No problem getting up from the kitchen chairs so that's what I'll be using for a couple days.

As is usual as we head into the holidays money gets tight. I was able to close out September by throwing in my emergency cash stash. October appears to be about $500 short. To all those that have donated, Thank you for your donations!. Any help is appreciated. Here's a link to the How to Donate Page
