Stop!

By Daddy

Las Vegas — It's apparent that the Millennial generation is becoming a part of the political process. I'm now receiving multiple political texts each day. For about $30 anybody can get a program that'll text a message political (or other) to a multitude of phones.

So I urge you to remember safe text practices. Never click a link in a SMS message from an unknown person. Never give them any information. Certainly never send them money.

What to do? either ignore them, or send the word "Stop" and only the word "Stop" in a reply. Most of the robots will unsubscribe you from their database, however there is a caveat, they now know you're a real person. If that doesn't work forward the message to "7726" (that spells spam) to have your carrier take a stab at it.

This is political "Free speech" and I expect to see more of it happen over the next three weeks entil the election. Just remember that just because it's "Free speech" doesn't mean you have to listen.

I've mastered walking in the CROW boot and can step down with confidence. Stepping up and getting out of the workstation chair is still problematic. I still get very tired very quickly when it's on however I am getting around better and using the cane less and less in the apartment.

As is usual as we head into the holidays money gets tight. October appears to be about $360 short. To all those that have donated, Thank you for your donations!. Any help is appreciated. Here's a link to the How to Donate Page
