Coverboy Slow Motion
Moving in Slow Motion Today
By Daddy
Unknown — Moving in slow motion today and getting a lot done. With all of the Good New/Bad News yesterday I messed up and didn't make it to get my blood drawn for the doctors appointment on Wednesday. They gracefully allowed that I could do it next week.
Yesterday I asked the Wound Doctor if I should be considered "Disabled." The answer was: "Definitely!" Because of the diabetes and the neuropathy I have developed a foot deformity called: "Charcot syndrome" which is causing major problems with my mobility. It means that I'll start looking for a Orthopedic doctor that is on my insurance plan. The wound doctor will give me advise on which of the 40 or so doctors would be helpful.
I'll also be starting to look at SSI as I'm finally admitting that I'm not able to work at a 9-5 job. I'm lucky that one of my friends went through the process a few years ago year and knows the ropes. I can manage the website and slowly do development because I'm able to take frequent breaks through out the day but beyond that I wouldn't be able to handle it.
To all those that have donated, Thank you! Any help is appreciated. Please update our address when you have a chance. I've been visiting the mailbox on Monday after the wound doctor visit. Here's a link to the How to Donate Page which has been updated with the new address.

The True Story Behind Out, Pixar's Groundbreaking Gay Short Film
By Daniel Reynolds
Hollywood — Steven Clay Hunter was not prepared for the outpouring of love he'd receive after the Pixar short he wrote and directed, Out, debuted on Disney+ in late May.
