The Wound Doctor Is Once Again Frustrated
By Daddy
Las Vegas — Went to the wound doctor yesterday and he is once again fustrated. My heel wound is slightly larger and is now starting to be round instead of oval. He's once again taken a wound culture and already had a blood test from last Friday to review. I'm to go in on Thursday to have a test measuring the O2 levels at the site of the wound.
I also need to schedule a visit with a Orthopedic surgeon for his take on the "Charcot syndrome"that has developed in my left foot. If we do the surgery which frankly scares the bejesus out of me, I'll have to use crutches, walker, or a wheelchair for several months.
This is going to be a busy week as I have a visit with the infectious disease doctor tomorrow.
