PM for the Soul

By Daddy

Las Vegas — I could sit here and be depressed. Don't really understand the mild depression as the major irritation of life (The election) is officially decided and we're just waiting for the fat lady to sing on the 15th. Keeping busy is the key to getting out any depression and beats the hell out of those drugs that just put you to sleep.

My regular doctor has disappeared and I'm assuming he's working long hours because of COVID19. The nurse practitioner (NP) that was his replacement is a sweet cuban girl. My vitals are good and she wants my quarterly blood draw for A1C

I'm going to stay busy so that I sleep well tonight as it's going to be a long week. So today is devoted to doing the laundry. Something that drains me as the laundry room is just at the edge of my walking distance without resting. Who am I kidding, the bench in front of the laundry room always figures into my trip.

Along the way, I plan stops as the Garbage bins to release some excess boxes and other packages from my life. Also along the way I plan to top off the oil as the engine is making that subtle vibration that tells me it needs some love and care

The car registration is due by Sunday so a smog check on Thursday followed by the blood draw on Friday. The mailbox is once again available for limited hours. The new hours actually fit better into my schedule so I can fit it in after the blood draw.

As is usual as we head into the holidays, money gets tight. I have a couple of bills (like the car) to take care of in early December so I'm watching my pennies very carefully. To all those that have donated, Thank you for your donations!. Any help is appreciated. Here's a link to the How to Donate Page
