Remember the Day!
By Daddy
Las Vegas — Today should be a day of peace, a day of good will, and a day to celebrate family and friends both near and far. This is a day to ignore Washington, DC completely or be consumed by the hatred that is currently permeating there.
I'm not in the mood to do my usual spiral cut ham. So instead I'm prepping a simple ham steak which is in the refrigerator marinating in my favorite hoisin sauce. Fresh green beans are ready to be put into the sous vite. The fresh Shrimp (or at least as fresh as you can get in Las Vegas) is yet to be prepped and I'm adding mushrooms this time just for a little extra flavor.
Today is about rest and relaxation. Perhaps a round of my favorite game (Civ6) and may a new book for my iPad. I can wait until next week to see what mess has developed in Washington, DC
I'm staying at home and limiting my access to the outside world. To all those that have donated, Thank you for your donations!. Any help is appreciated. Here's a link to the How to Donate Page
