Coverboy A House Divided...
A House Divided Against Itself
By Daddy
Las Vegas — In 1858 Abraham Lincoln said: "A house divided against itself, cannot stand" and now a little over 162 years later I'm starting to wonder how close to falling down is this great nation.
And I'm not the only one, District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bower said: ""What I'm worried about is this country descending into a race war,” Bowser said at a news conference Monday. "And I'm worried about the continued incitement of violence from leadership who should be focused on bringing our communities together — New York Post."
The last time our house fell ~750,000 people lost their lives over four years to change the status of ~3.8 million from slave to free. What we're seeing now is nowhere near the scale of the civil war but it's starting to get ominous. We're starting to see both sides mobilize and that should be scary to all.
In 1863 the conflict was resolved by the Emancipation Proclamation. So what's it going to take to resolve this conflict? There is no doubt that police treatment of all minorities is disproportionate. All these protests and all this violence tends to support the feelings of the people. So the question that needs to be on the national agenda is:"How to we change the way police treat all people?"
—I'll admit that I'm pushing the limits of SwiftUI. However the User Interface is mostly done, it's just separated in three separate test apps.
This weekend I'll be turning my focus to the production machine and doing some critical updates. There is a compelling reason to do so because it would appear that unsavory people have been trying to break into the server the last two weekends.
I vividly remember the first piece of SPAM back in 1978 which annoyed all 393 of the its recipients. Now days it's an almost daily battle which needs constant monitoring to keep these (mostly robots) out of the system.
—I have most of the 2nd half of the car insurance in hand to pay this weekend. I'll be eating out of the freezer for a while. To all those that have donated, Thank you! Any help is appreciated. Here's a link to the How to Donate Page

AT&T Calls Section 230 ‘Neutrality Debate That Really Matters’
By Lawrence Avery

Section 230 protects internet platforms — such as Google or Facebook — from legal liability over content posted by users, which allows those platforms to provide an open forum for online communications without the impossible task of monitoring every piece of content that appears on their sites.
