Very Sore, Very Stiff

By Daddy

Las Vegas — I'm actually more stiff and sore today that I was yesterday after the "slip 'n fall" in the bathtub. Can't take a hot shower because the show curtain is still down. Waiting on the "Team" to show up to make the bathroom repairs. The new bathmat will be suppose to be showing up on the 1st.

I'm taking it easy today and moving slowly with my cane handy. Don't have any appointments until next week so I'll just putter around and perhaps read a good book and take naps. It sure sucks to be old; it makes me wonder how the politicians in their 70s and 80s manage.

September 22nd, two days ago was "National Voter Registration Day." LGBTQnation.com points out that: "States regularly purge their voter rolls. Check to make sure you're registered." With just about 39 days to the election the window is rapidly closing to be apart of this once in a lifetime event. Don't be one of those 20% in the LGBTQ+ community that won't get to have their voice heard."

Washington — President Donald Trump paid respects to late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Thursday morning, just two days before he announces his nominee to replace her on the high court.

The president and first lady Melania Trump — both wearing masks — stood silently at the top of the steps of the court and looked down at Ginsburg's flag-draped coffin, surrounded by white flowers. The death of the liberal-leaning justice has sparked a controversy over the balance of the court just weeks before the November presidential election. (More)

By Raffy Ermac

Cyberspace — Based on the Brazilian series Julie e os Fantasmas, Netflix's Julie and the Phantoms is the cute (and gay-inclusive!) musical teen series we didn't even know we needed!

Though the story focuses primarily on main character Julie Molina (Madison Reyes), a shy but musically-gifted teen who is coping with the recent death of the mother and who can communicate with a ghostly boyband named Sunset Curve, fans of the series are absolutely going crazy for the coupling of Alex (Owen Patrick Joyner) and Willie (Booboo Stewart).
