Another Day, Another Book
By Daddy
Las Vegas — It's like we're a part of a book of the month club. People like to write books about the president, any president. However, most of them are positive but lately we've begun to get books that show the another side of President Trump. The view isn't particularly positive and the people that are writing them are not the usual suspects...
- "Front Row at the Trump Show" by Jonathan Karl, Chief White House Correspondent for ABC News, 3/31/20
- "The Room Where it Happened: A White House Memoir" by John Bolton, Former National Security Advisor, 06/23/20
- Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World's Most Dangerous Man by Mary L. Trump, 07/14/20
- Disloyal: A Memoir: The True Story of the Former Personal Attorney to President Donald J. Trump by Michael Cohen, 9/5/20
- Rage by Bob Woodward, Journalist 9/9/20
The wound heel is healed! The wound doctor released me yesterday. Today is a visit to be measured for a Crow (Charcot Restraint Orthotic Walker) boot. It should help with my walking.
I'll be hard boiling the eggs for "Daddy's Chicken-Egg Salad" before I go out so that they have a chance to chill before chopping them up. I forgot the mayonnaise yesterday so need to pop into the store quickly on the way home.
The User Interface on my SwiftUI app only needs two more controls. This weekend I'll continue to fold the three test apps into the real app. Then it's on to interfacing with the external library. It may be simpler than I thought as I may be able to call the library without a Thunk layer
Everything is caught up bill wise and I'm over the hump for August. I'll be watching the pennes until about the 20th and then I should be OK. To all those that have donated, Thank you for your donations!. Any help is appreciated. Here's a link to the How to Donate Page
