Coverboy USPS Isn't The Only Show In Town
USPS Isn't the Only Show in Town
By Daddy
Las Vegas — It's no surprise that the President objects to mail-in ballots even during a global pandemic. It would raise the number of people voting substantially proven by resent results in Hawaii which wouldn't be in his best interest. But now I'm hearing rumors that the USPS won't be able to handle the load after the “Friday Night Massacre” at the Postal Service. Some are even saying: "Deliberate sabotage to disrupt mail service on the eve of the election — an election that hinges on mail-in ballots."
However, just a moment; I don't receive most of my packages via the Post Office. I suspect that there are a few other organizations that could step in and provide the service at a reasonable rate. Organizations that are used to tracking packages from end to end.
Visiting the wound clinic today; hoping for good news.
I'll be working on day 96 of 100 Days of SwiftUI course later today. Over the weekend I did a review of doing the development the old way with UIKit and yep, SwiftUI even it's infancy (two years old) is easier and more flexible. I also tried the latest version of Xcode 12 which is available in beta and I quickly abandoned it as it's way slower than the current release.
I'm projecting that I'll be about $300 short for the month and I'll need to throw the rest of the stimulus check into the pot. To all those that have donated, Thank you! Any help is appreciated. Here's a link to the How to Donate Page
