President Trump magnanimously decided to issue a posthumous pardon to Susan B. Anthony, an early and persistent advocate for women’s right to vote. That the president — whose personal history with women is, shall we say, controversial — chose to do so on the centennial of the 19th Amendment properly frames his move as a publicity stunt. — Los Angeles Times. Ms. Anthony didn't want a pardon because in her mind had done nothing wrong.
