Desk Hacking

By Daddy

Las Vegas — This weekends plan is to work on the top tier of my desk. I have noticed that the top section of the desk has a metal screen that if removed would give me an inch or two more space for the monitors which have been crowded together for a couple years. This no cost change will give me a chance to relocate, reorient, and rearrange the equipment and as a bonus give the iMac a chance for much needed memory upgrade.

I picked up another whole chicken at $1.29/lb and will cook it this weekend. The stuffing will be an experiment: Asian Pear, Onion, and Walnuts. I also want to try to make a low-carb version of the Palmer House Brownies; if it works it'll be glorious!

Tonight I'm putting up the reviews that have straggled in over the last week or so. We have a dearth of reviews because I suspect of the novel coronavirus self-quarantine rules in effect in most places. Please: Be safe, Be sane, Be Healthy! My prayers go out to New York City the hardest hit epicenter.

Health wise I'm doing fine other than suffering from seasonal ragweed allergies. Monitoring my vitals to be be cautious and every trip outside get's a "Do I really need to do that today?" decision. I'm watching my pennies until about the 18th when a good commission check from flirt4free is expected. May be hampered because the Postnet store is shutting down on the 15th and the theory is that It'll show up at the post office. To all those that have donated, Thank you! Any help is appreciated. Hollywood — Some families are chosen—every week, same time, same channel.

Modern Family, ABC’s hit sitcom about a lovable suburban Los Angeles clan, is ending after 11 seasons and 250 episodes. The series broke ground in primetime with Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet as Mitch and Cam, a gay couple raising an adopted child. Another modern daddy, Ty Burrell as Phil Dunphy, TV’s dorkiest queer ally. The two-time Emmy winner, who also voices a cool dad on the animated Fox comedy Duncanville, tells NewNowNext why he’s always been a friend of the family. (More)
