Las Vegas — The coasters showed up on my doorstep as I was leaving to do the errands and three packages were on my doorstep when I got home.
The workstation credenza build will be easier than I thought because the prefinished plywood doesn't need to be painted, it's very nice all by its self. Just need to tape the edge which only takes my iron.
The Ikea cube is now expected to show up on Saturday. Both packages started out from the same place, at the same time. Couldn't Ikea simply put them on a cart at the Las Vegas store and have me come pick them up? Large waste of time for a twenty dollar delivery charge. Perhaps we should get some of the Ikea people into plastic bubbles.
It's time to cycle out the older chicken thighs stored in the freezer. Part of my emergency supplies is that I season thighs, put them in dated ziplock bags and store them in the freezer door. If I don't use them in a reasonable amount of time into the soup pot they go. Starting the chicken soup today.
I'll try to get the new backend moved over to the production server. This will be the first time that the new look will be available publicly.
We have a dearth of reviews (actually just one) because of the novel coronavirus self-quarantine rules in effect in most localities. There are signs that we're past the worst of the coronavirus however it's a little too soon to relax yet. As Dr. Fauci says: "It's no time to back off yet. Please: Be Safe, Be Sane, Be Healthy!
Turned in the change of address form today, the online application form won't accept the old address because its a "Commercial Mail Receiving Agency" which they don't normally forward. However, there is an exception for CMRs that go out of business. I'm hoping that handing it to the carrier will short circuit the process.
The old mailing address should be good for about 10 days and once the address forward is in place that'll be good for a year. To all those that have donated, Thank you! Any help is appreciated. Here's a link to the How to Donate Page which will be updated towards the end of the week.
